Fork of OpenPilot ยท MIT ยท Free forever
Same lane centering and adaptive cruise you trust from openpilot โ with turn-by-turn nav and vehicle-to-infrastructure built in. One device. No subscription. No phone required.
Everything openpilot ships โ plus Navigation and V2I integrated into the driving stack.
Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) receives broadcasts from connected traffic signals, work zones, and roadside units.
LaneSyncPilot is a fork, not a rewrite. Same hardware, same car support, same engage button. We merge upstream releases regularly.
LaneSyncPilot App
The companion app syncs routes, logs, and dashcam footage from your comma device โ free video downloads, end-to-end encryption, and optional cloud saves when you want to keep a drive.

A community fork of openpilot that adds built-in Navigation and V2I. Same hardware, same cars, two extra features integrated into the drive stack.
No. Navigation uses GPS and on-device storage. V2I uses the built-in LTE modem. Any comma 3X or comma four with a standard harness works.
Vehicle-to-Infrastructure. Your car receives data from connected traffic lights, work zones, and roadside units โ so it knows what's ahead before cameras see it. It augments openpilot's vision, never replaces it.
Level 2 driver assistance โ you must always pay attention and be ready to take over. Open source code means anyone can audit it.
Free. No subscription, no account, no fees. MIT licensed.
Yes. We track upstream releases for car support, safety fixes, and core ADAS improvements.
A free companion app for iOS and Android. Drives sync to the cloud so you can download dashcam videos and optionally tap Save to keep them. Everything is end-to-end encrypted. No paid tier required.
Every drive uploads temporarily so you can review and download clips. If you don't tap Save within 7 days, the video and associated cloud data are permanently deleted from our servers. Saved drives stay in your library at no cost. Downloading to your phone before the 7-day window keeps a local copy even after server deletion.
Your drives are encrypted on your device before upload. Only you (and people you explicitly share with) hold the keys. LaneSyncPilot servers store encrypted blobs โ we cannot decrypt or view your routes or videos.
Flash LaneSyncPilot on your comma device today.
